From the Editor

What do we know of the woods?  Their there on the edge of Penglais hill lying beside the road, there their as we leave Aber mirroring the sea’s blue with its green.  Trees are bare now, no doubt due to the current economic climate that will make good pruners of us all, replaced by the white spaces of the snow due to the actual current climate.  This is less of a collaborative project than was intended, we had larger plants than pots, but the some seeds sown here will have yet to bloom.  Perhaps in the next season, or the season after.

I’ve enjoyed being the gardener to the Broad-Ways allotments.  Digging plots for the new growth, watering the settled roots, mixing new manure with old soil hoping to bring colours with smells to those who visit that may later harvest the food from their memory beds to nourish on.  So please lose yourself in our, saplings they may be, woods and flowery language remembering that ‘not all those who wander are lost’.
