A Loaf of Hour

English bread!  Regular as clockwork,

But what is it in those flourly clogs,

That makes it so accuratly hourly?

Is it the pendulum of the yeast,

That makes it rise like a sun from east,

Or is it just the air,

                               which is beaten into there?
